Summary: Nuts about LPS
Comment: We are fans of the LPS toys, and I like buying the pet pairs because you get 2 new pets for the same price as 1 take-along pet. These should retail for about $5.
This pet pair includes a gray squirrel (actually, I thought it was a skunk, because it has a light stripe down it's back) and a pink bird with yellow feet. It also includes a tiny acorn and a sturdy birdbath.
I like the pets, especially because they are a change-up from the many cats, dogs and bunnies we already have. The birdbath is cute, pink and purple with molded blue water inside, but it is a little hard to make the bird perch on the edge. My 5 year old never perches the bird, she just sets the bird right into the water. But she does play with it.
I was worried about the bird's feet stretching out so that they wouldn't perch, but that hasn't happened. Our pets have all been quite durable - just a little missing paint on a few of them due to jumbled storage.
Bottom line - get this pair for a fair price. You'll enjoy your 2 pets and birdbath.
